Nominee Information

Thank you for your interest in joining our community of dedicated USTA volunteers for the 2025 - 2026 term! Your contribution will help us in our mission to grow tennis and inspire healthier individuals and communities.

At the USTA, we celebrate the open format: the idea that anyone from anywhere should be able to play and compete. That’s the driving force behind our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy, designed to grow and promote our sport to new generations of diverse fans, players, coaches, volunteers and employees. The USTA is made up of people from all backgrounds, working together to ensure every individual and community – regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, religious and spiritual beliefs, age or socio-economic background – has the opportunity to reap the physical, mental and social benefits of tennis. We also believe it is our responsibility to support and advocate for the well-being of our tennis community off the court as well. Our mission and core values – one of which is inclusion – guide everything we do.

Before you fill out the application on the following pages, please read and acknowledge the following statements by placing a check in the box to the left of each statement. You may then click "Continue" below to proceed.

I am able and willing to attend all Committee or Task Force meetings and National meetings, whether in-person or virtual, to participate on a National Committee or Task Force. I understand the USTA does not cover travel costs for Committee/Task Force Members serving on National Committees or Task Force. (You may contact your Section office, or if applicable your District office or CTA, to determine if they subsidize these costs.)

I am proficient in the use of the Internet. I understand that much of the communication for National Committees/Task Forces is done by email, using an online collaboration website (e.g. Google Drive) on which I would be trained and required to use to be a successful USTA National Committee/Task Force Member.

I understand that should I be selected to serve on a National Committee or Task Force, I must be a USTA member (as required by the USTA Bylaws) and submit a signed Conflict of Interest Disclosure (COID) form. I understand and agree that my contact information will be included in the USTA Yearbook and National Volunteer Directory.

I understand that if I am selected to serve on a National Committee or Task Force, I must be Safe Play Approved by the start of the term (January 1, 2025) and maintain my Safe Play Approved status throughout my term. Non-compliance with the Safe Play program will result in my removal from the National Committee or Task Force.

I understand that I may not be contacted to discuss my application prior to National Committee appointments and that I will not be contacted for a personal interview.

I understand the Committee Appointment Process (CAP) timeline which is driven by USTA Bylaws.
